How to upgrade android jellybean to lollipop 5.0 without root
Then you have come to the right place.
Android lollipop was released on 2014.
Since then it was the best-looking version of android.
With lots of features and excellent user experience.
Today in this post we will see how we can upgrade to lollipop.
And if official update is not available for your device then I have also a solution for this
So let’s proceed?
Update jellybean to lollipop
Although official android update came to many android devices using jellybean for an upgrade.
If you don’t know whether there is an official update for it or not. Follow the step
Open settings of your mobile
Scroll down to bottom about phone and click on system update
If there will be an official update in your device it will show.
And if not if will show error or “no update available”
What if official update is not available on my device
It’s not possible to upgrade from jellybean to lollipop without root. If the official update is not available.
But as I say in be gaining of post that I have a solution for this.
In case of no official update
We can change it a theme to look like an android lollipop.
Because what most people like in lollipop is its theme color which is white.
All the previous version of android has black theme color but this one has white.
Which make it good looking.
That’s exactly we are going to do here.
But How?
Just follow the steps
Although this guide is for non-rooted android phones. But rooted phones can also use this to change the look from jellybean to lollipop
First of all, go to settings>security>tick of unknown sources
Now, you have to download four things
After you downloaded the required files go through each step
Press and hold on right left button of your device and select change wallpaper
Wallpaper changed now its time for the launcher.
Now you phone will look from this to this
Set the default ringtones of lollipop you downloaded. So whenever any notification or call came it sounds like android 5.0
At last, we will change the keyboard setting.
At first, uninstall the Google keyboard.
Notice I am talking about the keyboard which installed from play store not the AOSP
Head over to android google keyboard setting
Click advance setting
Click on select color scheme to “Material”
It’s done now.
Final thought
If you have done every step carefully. You can see in your device that it totally look like an android lollipop. And no one can say that it is jellybean device.
So this is my guide on How to update android jellybean to lollipop without rooting. I hope you have done it successfully if so share this trick with your friends so they can know about it.
After this, did you thought we can go to settings --> About the device --> Click 5-10 times on "Android version" and check if it's really Lollipop or always JellyBean?
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, it's a very good tutorial... :)
